Fishing Report-October 2017
The past couple of weeks have been wet with the river systems running quite fresh. If you are chasing a Barramundi before the end of the season which closes at midday November 1st, places we recommend trying are the Boyne and Calliope rivers especially around the upper reaches that are still running fresh. There has still been some great opportunities for offshore fishing with some excellent captures of Sweetlip, Coral Trout, Red Emperor and Cobia. The mud crabs have started to move throughout the Narrows and South Tree systems and shall continue into the bigger tides leading up to the full moon.
