Fishing Report

Spanish Mackerel are the talk of the town now with some quite large models being captured in close. If you fancy a tussle with a Spanish well now is the time to do it with the preferred methods now being trolled baits, lures and the now ever so popular casting floating stick baits and poppers. There are plenty of people enjoying this style of fishing because of the spectacular aerial displays they put on whilst connecting with the lure, launching sometimes meters into the air. Offshore has continued to fish well with plenty of quality Red Throat, Coral Trout and even some beautiful Red Emperor. Salmon have moved into the estuaries with the recent cool change and they have done so in numbers, so get yourself some fresh Herring or Gar and find yourself a shallow mud or gravel bank on a making tide and get among them.
