Fishing Report

The weather is cooling but the fishing is heating up. Over the past week the Blue Salmon have started to move into the Harbour and Estuaries in large numbers with plenty of captures of quality fish coming from the Narrows and Calliope River. Rocky outcrops are producing some great Finger Mark and Black Jew especially on the neap tides with vibes and fresh Mullet. Lilies beach is starting to fire with plenty of Whiting, Bream and Flathead. This area is best fished on a run-in tide with Yabbies, Prawn and small surface poppers. When the weather allows there are plenty of Spanish Mackerel being caught on trolled lures and baits hot spots are Rundle Island and Rock Cod Shoals.
