With absolutely beautiful weather again this past week the offshore guys have been smashing it. Reports of quality reef fish have been very common of late, with plenty of mixed bags coming in from out wide including some beautiful Red Emperor, Coral Trout, Tuskies and Red Throat. Inshore the Pelagic's have still been on the move, with some large Spanish Mackerel being caught at Rundle Island and the front of Facing Island. Trolled Wolf Herring have been very popular however, there have also been some good fish in the 10 – 15KG bracket caught on fresh Gar. The creeks are also fishing well especially the Calliope River around the hot water outlet holding some nice Blue Salmon and some big Barramundi.
